When I moved into my new house 2 years ago the kitchen had problems and could do with a make over. I didn’t have to budget to renovate, so I did everything you possibly could to make it look and function like new. I’ve made a video of the before and after which I’ll post later, but for now here are a few pictures outlining what I did.
Typical galley kitchen. Cabinet above fridge unless, nothing separating fridge and stove.Too many appliances on the counter, microwave shelf sticking out way too far, ugly foist.Upper cabinets down too low, no under cabinet lights. The base cabinets sticking out from the wall too far. No tile on the wall.space in the corner for slim pantry!Done!
work in progress!Painted door’s, new hardware on doors, lights under cabinets, upper cabinets raised, base cabinets pushed back. Tiled wall.box made for large appliances.Gable between fridge and stove, cabinet above fridge moved forward ( can now be used) and Gretchen.New kick.walls painted, new foist, gables added to upper cabinets.
